How does the CatchEm app collect this data?

The CatchEm app collects user data upon the app being installed within Microsoft Teams, and in the case of a user's contact data, on a regular ongoing basis. This User data is collected, processed, and stored for a finite period. The app collects functional data as and when the user adds and removes contacts from their tagged contact list.

Where does the CatchEm Office 365 app store data?

The CatchEm app stores user and functional data within the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. More specifically, user data is stored in a Cosmos DB service located in the UK South region. User data residing in this service is therefore compliant with all Microsoft privacy terms and security practices as stated in the Microsoft Trust Center. User and functional data stored in this context will reside in the Cosmos DB service until the user notifies that they no longer wish to use the app.
